Another of pictures for my friends since I have no commisioners 
This time it´s my very lovely and nice friend Marianna who wanted me to draw her after she saw [link] but she did not specified what the picture should look like. So I decided to draw her as Night lady.
(The curved weird thing with holes is supposed to be moon
).
Tools: black ink (used as watercolor) and pen.
I can say this was a bit of an experiment since I am not used to work with those much.

This is really interesting!
I like the concept and how everything seems to be connected in some way. The blue colour/pen brings that out in a great way, I think. The proportions and features are defined to great extent and the shading is wonderful as well.
I'm not sure about the appliance of the ink/watercolour. I do like how it gives it more atmosphere and depth, but... it really is a tricky medium to work with, you know? Especially in the outlining and trying not to go over specific lines. I feel as if because of that, the piece isn't as good as it could be. Then again, it would take more time and more attention to detail to make sure that all the white small spaces were covered.

I feel as if it would be greater if the whole background was black as well... at the moment, the whiteness makes it a bit... different, but clearer as well.
I think that the edges are great, but that you could apply the same technique inside as well, especially around the face where there is a white line. If you managed to smudge the ink closer so that it surrounds it completely, it may be better?
